Days ago have been published some articles related to a page on a site who published the results of a statistical research over internet users. The IQ of IE users are far less than FF and Chrome ones.
So, it seems IE users are dumb, compared to FF and Chrome or Safari ones.
Have look at this PC World, InfoWorld articles (similar on Italian newspapers Repubblica, Corriere), and at the original pdf publication.
Obviously the site was a fake and the results too. Something like the kittens in the bottles, that many years ago made a lot of sweet hearted people cry and complain for the poor puppets.
The nice thing is that many popular newspapers, even in Italy, reported the results, forgetting (as usual) to publish then that was a fake. It seems in these days being a "journalist" consists in some cut and paste work on pages being published by someone else (and that say much about what I think about that so called "journalist").
And the interesting side of this entire story is that everyone considered perfectly normal the fake results. The statistics was a fake, the results too, but that results could be absolutely true for all people reading the articles. Me too.
I think this is the relevant part of what happened. Could be IE users aren’t so dumb, but everyone is considering them so.
